is he beautiful or is he ugly he's a beautiful-but-evil one what lurks in the mind his dangerous mind what delusions does he plan to make real is he beautiful or horrible he's an evil-but-beautiful one he's what we've created by conscientious neglect is he sane or insane when do we know when do we decide to look at the face of evil at the face of the devil we've created is he an old man or a child I cannot tell is he beautiful or is he ugly? I cannot decide but there he is with evil inside that he doesn't even try to hide and we say who could have known? who could have foretold? what trouble was brewing in the brooding beautiful straight-jacketed boy
broken toys do declare fix me, take me in your arms so I can cut you but nurse tries again broken toys, she says must be nurtured and loved must be made to cry in her arms must by comforted must be made whole again nurse must make them whole again but that damage is done no glue will hold them and nurse bleeds while she bandages broken toys declare take me in your arms so I can cut you, again but nurse continues broken toys, she says must be nurtured and loved must be made to cry in her arms must be comforted must be made whole again nurse will make them whole again but the damage is done the bandages are undone and nurse realizes her mistake much too late
